The Yeates Academy is registered with The Irish Dancing Commission (An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha), Dublin, Ireland. Students are eligible to compete in local, regional, national and World Championships called "Feis or Feiseanna."
Entering competition, called Feiseanna (fesh-ahna), is encouraged but not required. It is one way to assess our dancers' progress and to recognize and reward for them for their hard work. Many of our dancers compete at championship level and have qualified to dance at the World Championships. If you are interested in competing, please let Sinead or the studio directors know. You can register online for Feiseanna (competitions).
